Condom Ringtone Reaches 270′000 Downloads

CHENNAI, India - The condom ringtone we reported on earlier has reached 270′000 downloads and 2 million hits. Since it’s launch back in August (08) it’s helping to spread the message of safe sex in India with its estimated 250 million mobile phones. This BBC World Service Trust condom campaign is doing extremely well and transcending far beyond Indian borders (partly because of its funny a cappella character, but also because of the fact that it was made possible by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation).
